Sri Karya Siddhi Anjaneya Swamy Temple Bangalore

Temple Description

Founded in 1981 by His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama has become a leading spiritual, cultural, and social hub in Bangalore.

In 2015, following the inauguration of the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, the Hanuman Chalisa was chanted continuously for 24 hours under his direction. Additionally, the temple achieved a milestone by recording 40,000 recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa, creating what is now the world’s largest online video album of its kind.

Beyond his spiritual dedication, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji is known for his deep compassion and commitment to human upliftment, running numerous programs and projects aimed at enriching lives.

Lord Hanuman, a devoted follower of Sri Rama who assisted in rescuing Goddess Sita from Ravana, is the central figure of the Karya Siddhi Anjaneya Temple. This temple, named to reflect that all efforts (Karya) are fulfilled (Siddhi) through Hanuman’s blessings, features a massive monolithic idol weighing approximately 200 tonnes. Crafted by 18 sculptors under Subramanya Archar’s guidance, the statue took 10 months to complete.

The Karya Siddhi Anjaneya Temple, built in an octagonal shape, draws thousands of visitors each day. Inspired by the Poorna Phala Samarpana Pooja performed there, devotees offer coconuts to Lord Hanuman, seeking his favor for their wishes.
