Kote Anjaneya is a Hanuman temple situated in Tumkur, Karnataka, featuring a 75-foot tall statue of Hanuman at its entrance, which was inaugurated in May 2005. This temple houses one of the Hanuman idols consecrated by Sri Vyasaraja, who served as the royal guru during the Vijayanagar Empire and was the mentor to prominent figures like Kanakadasa and Purandaradasa. Over five centuries ago, Sri Vyasaraja consecrated a total of 732 Hanuman idols across India.
