Three Jain Basadis, also known as bastis or temples, honoring the Jain Tirthankars Parshvanatha, Shantinatha, and Adinatha are part of the Jain Hoysala complex at Halebidu, Hassan district. The Dwarasamudra Lake and Kedareshwara Temple are both close to the complex. Hulikere Kalyani is the name of a step well that is part of the temple complex.
Together with Kedareshwara and Hoysaleswara temples, these temples were built in the twelfth century during the Hoysala Empire. All three of the complex’s basadis are included in the list of “Must See” Indian Heritage sites by the Archaeological Survey of India, and they are also designated as “Adarsh Smarak Monuments.”
