Temple Description

The temple was inaugurated on December 23, 2003, by Sri N.S. Anantha Ramu, known for translating the abridged version of the original Sai Satcharitra from Marathi to Kannada. Inside the temple, there is a stunning Pancha Loha idol of Shirdi Sai Baba, which weighs approximately 83 kilograms and stands about 3 feet tall.

It was once the residence of the spiritual guru Sai Baba, whose presence is still honored at the Samadhi Mandir located here. Every day, thousands of visitors come to the city to pay their respects to the revered Sufi saint and receive his blessings. Sai Baba was renowned for performing miracles and advocating the teachings of ‘One God.’

The Baba Mandir is a notable attraction in Sikkim, dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier who died near Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim. In honor of his memory, two shrines have been constructed to pay tribute to him.
